Georgia Repossession Service

Professional Vehicle Recovery Throughout the Peach State

Georgia’s Premier Asset Recovery Experts

Speedy Repo has offered repossession services to Georgia’s diverse landscape for over 15 years and has done so structured statewide for all of Georgia’s 159 counties. From the metropolitan mega area of Atlanta to the remote agricultural counties of South Georgia, our statewide network of vehicle recovery covers 10.9 million people across 59,425 square miles of various geography.

Given Georgia’s unique geography, we have observed some specific challenges in this industry throughout our tenure managing vehicle recoveries across the state.

We routinely conduct recoveries throughout nearly every type of environment, from the Appalachian foothills in North Georgia to the coastal marshlands around Savannah, we maintain the capacity to cleanly recover vehicles throughout both dense urban corridors and wide-open agricultural terrain, conducting vehicle recoveries in Atlanta’s thoroughfare and vehicle recoveries in Southwest Georgia’s large peanut farms.

We are also aware of the economic drivers of the state, including Hartsfield-Jackson’s massive logistics operations, that support Georgia’s poultry industry in Gainesville, the recent boom in film production in the Atlanta area, and the farming and agricultural equipment of the various rural counties we regularly support vehicle recovery.

Agricultural Expertise: Our teams specialize in recovering agricultural equipment all over Georgia within its $76 billion agricultural market. When we are not recovering everything from agricultural vehicles in peanut fields in Colquitt County to poultry processing equipment in North Georgia, our operators understand that agricultural work is seasonal and strive to schedule recoveries so that they minimally disrupt critical planting and harvesting timelines.

Complete Georgia Recovery Services

Standard Vehicle Recovery: We specialize in all things Georgia’s potpourri of vehicles, whether they are common pickup trucks of rural Georgia, corporate and luxury cars from Buckhead, and Alpharetta.

Our teams are experts on the requirements of Georgia state inspection and have all of the resources to complete the task based on a diverse network of franchised and independent dealer facilities, automotive manufacturers in titles such as Bartow, and Laurens counties. RV Repossession: Considering the mountains, lakes, and coast near Georgia, this state has very high usage of RVs. We constantly recover motorhomes, travel trailers, and boats all across this great state of Georgia, mostly around Lake Lanier, Lake Oconee, and Tybee Island amenities.

Commercial Equipment Recovery Services: We have focused on two statewide categories of commercial equipment. First is the logistics equipment at the center of the distribution hub of the east coast in Atlanta. The second is construction vehicles and equipment in support of the booming Georgia economy. Lastly, vehicle and equipment from the film industry in and around metro Atlanta.

Boat and Watercraft Repossession: We have the ability to cover 70,000 acres of shaped lakes and 100 miles of the Atlantic coast with our teams from Lake Lanier and the Okeefenokee swamp covering Georgia’s vast waters.

Heavy Equipment: Our continual relationships with companies that sell equipment from Atlanta to Albany have helped us to recognize the seasons of agriculture financing and regain possession through the obsolescence of the equipment or stopped financing.

Specialized Asset Recovery: In Georgia we are familiar with handling specialized assets of all kinds including industry-specific assets for film production, timber equipment for harvesting timber, and transportation equipment serving the Port of Savannah and Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport.

Statewide Coverage Strategy

In Georgia, we are focused on our operational base and specialized coverage on the state from the major regions we cover. We have our primary response sites in Metro Atlanta, Augusta, Columbus, Savannah, Macon, and Albany, with our secondary response with communities such as Valdosta, Rome, and Warner Robins.

Georgia’s challenge is to balance urban density with rural accessibility. At the center of this challenge is the state’s 6 million residents in metro Atlanta who require rapid response times and a special set of urban recovery skills. Simultaneously, approximately 75 miles to the south are agricultural counties in South Georgia that require a knowledge of farming cycles and the appropriate access to rural properties to complete a safe repossession. Our teams routinely travel on I-75 from the TN border all the way to the FL line, I-85 from AL to SC and I-16 from Macon to Savannah maintaining our recovery capabilities along these major corridors of transportation.

Georgia Legal Compliance Expertise

Georgia’s repossession legislation is precise and requires complete compliance with repossession protocols we have matured over years of operations. Speedy Repo maintains up to date knowledge of the Georgia Code Title 11, Article 9. Specifically, Article 9 governs secured transactions and the specific procedures for repossession, including Georgia’s unique requirements pertaining to peaceful repossession and notifying a debtor prior to repossession.

Georgia legal requires notice requirements to be completed prior to repossession in many situations, which we maintain compliance processes on a county by county basis, so we understand variances in recording requirements in all 159 counties. Our organizational teams understand Georgia’s 10-day redemption period rules, communicate with county clerks across Georgia, and file appropriate documentation to satisfy the requirements of Georgia’s repossession laws.

We maintain licensing requirements with the Georgia Secretary of State and maintain appropriate bonding to operate in all of the state of Georgia. All operators receive Georgia state specific training to understand and learning what are the state regulations around repossession, including an understanding of the state requirement of “no breach of peace” and proper treatment of personal property found in vehicles we recover.

We follow exacting procedures per Georgia automobile title laws in compliance on repossession title transfer. We diligently maintain our timeliness in reporting title transfers with Georgia Department of Revenue and understand that some counties process title transfers differently, ranging from volume based systems used by Fulton County to manual processes commonly used in rural counties.
