Utah-Specific Advantages & Experience
We have three critical state-specific advantages and pronounced real-life operational experience in the Beehive State:
Mountain & High-Altitude Recovery: We have developed specialized recovery protocol for vehicles at extreme elevations in Utah and challenging mountain environments. Last winter alone, our team recovered a commercial fleet vehicle that was stranded at over 11,000 feet near Park City by utilizing custom equipment that was alpine mobilization rated during an unexpected blizzard. Our vehicles are equipped with altitude specific equipment and our personnel are trained in mountain recovery procedures that we absolutely require given the geographical limitations of Utah.
Great Basin & Desert Operations: Utah’s great desert areas require different tactical options for recovery than mountain recovery. We carry specialized equipment for sand and loose soil recovery, which we absolutely need to operate on land such as the Bonneville Salt Flats and West Desert. The same week that we conducted a difficult recovery of construction equipment 60 miles west of Salt Lake City, we also conducted that recovery with our specialized equipment, while also being fully aware of how important avoiding damage to the vehicle was. Technology Industry Fleet Specialization: The Utah therapeutic environment has a higher density of large technology firms for which we have developed specialized solutions for recovering their high-value corporate fleets and other specialty technology. Providing discretion to avoid damaging the reputations of these companies while on-duty is vitally important to the recovery process especially given that Utah is a relatively small community where information travels quickly when a company is compromised. Complete Utah Recovery Services
Standard Vehicle Recovery: Focused on Utah’s common vehicles, including pickup trucks – which can be one of the most important aspects of outdoor recreation, SUVs – which have access to the mountains, and the growing number of electric vehicles which are becoming increasingly common in the Wasatch Front.
Recreational Vehicle Repossessions: In Utah’s outdoor recreation culture RVs, ATVs, and snowmobiles are common, and we’ve recovered them all! We have recovered from Rocky Mountain camping sites in the Uinta Mountains, to winter sports equipment at resort ski areas in the Wasatch Range.
Commercial Equipment Recovery: Centered around Utah’s vital industries, including mining machinery in the Uinta Basin, agriculture machinery in Cache Valley, and construction trades to support Utah’s exponential growth along the Wasatch Front.
Boat & Watercraft Recovery: Although Utah is landlocked, we have many reservoirs and outcroppings of the Great Salt Lake – all of which support ample watersports activity. We have specialized equipment dedicated for recoveries in some of Utah’s major water-related activities such as Lake Powell and Bear Lake and other large water recreation areas. Heavy Equipment Recovery: We cover the state’s mining and energy sectors with recoveries of specialized equipment like mining units and drilling rigs, as well as heavy equipment associated with the construction industry that are all part of Utah’s industry.
Specialized Asset Recovery: Equipment recovery for Utah’s unique areas, such as for the solar and gas industry that involve energy equipment recovery; for the tech sector, involving servers and technology; and for agricultural equipment that represent large-scale farming activities.
Statewide Coverage Strategy
Our Utah services cover the most populated areas reasonably considered associated with Utah – Salt Lake City, West Valley City, Provo, West Jordan, Orem, Sandy, Ogden, St. George, Layton, and Taylorsville, but also can effectively service the most remote areas of the state. We have placed equipment in strategic proximity to the main north-south highway corridor of the state, I-15, and the main east-west corridor of I-80. Having the ability to quickly respond to anywhere in the Wasatch Front corridor and the remote areas of the state with this equipment is a value to clients.
Utah as a geography can present unique operational challenges that we have learned to adapt to with our experience. The elevation changes throughout the state require special equipment and skill and we need to create a logistics plan for the distance to get to each of the rural location population centers. We have policies, procedures, and processes to follow for winter operations in the heavy snow areas of northern Utah and we have policies, procedures, and processes to follow to keep vehicles and equipment capabilities on a year-round basis in the southern desert regions of the state.
Our coverage area runs the length of the state, from the Idaho border on the northern end near Logan to the Arizona border on the southern end at St. George, and from the Nevada border on the western end near Wendover to the Colorado border on the eastern end near Moab. We contract with various local towing companies to provide recovery services in the outlying areas of the state like Blanding, Price, and Vernal do to cover all aspects of the state and the vast distances for recovery of the most remote communities in Utah.
Utah Legal & Regulatory Knowledge
Utah operates under different repossession statutes than many states and we must follow segment processes to achieve a compliance level that is expected by the state of Utah. Utah has repossession laws that are unique to the state when it comes to the repossession of collateral. Utah’s statutory scheme allows the repossession of a property by way of “self-help” repossession and without a court order after the proper notifications have been made. We keep abreast of the recording requirements in Utah because they are different in every county, and one may need to give the rightful owner immediate notice while another county may give a longer window to report.
Our team holds all of the necessary Utah professional licenses and bonds, as well as the required credentials to provide recovery operations on state and federal lands in Utah. We have achieved a compliance level of 99.2% in compliance with all Utah regulations and statutory requirements in our 8 years of operation in Utah, with no violations of Utah regulatory requirements in over 3 years.
After 8 years of continuous operation in Utah we still maintain a 94.7% rate of successful recoveries throughout the state and we average a response time of under 2.5 hours for all recoveries including the remote locations of Utah. Our Utah team has already successfully completed over 12,000 recoveries and maintained the highest professional standards that the state expects of our business community.
Regional Response Commitments:
Wasatch Front Region: 1-2 hours
Cache Valley/Bear Lake Region: 2-3 hours
Uinta Basin Region: 3-4 hours

Licensed, bonded, and insured for Utah with continuous operation since 2016, these factors all indicate the reliability and expertise Utah needs and expects from a professional asset recovery service.
